Hall of Fame Inducts Six New Members

The Brocton Central School Hall of Fame inducted six new members during ceremonies held during Homecoming Weekend.

The purpose of the Brocton Central School Hall of Fame is to honor graduates from Brocton Central School, living or deceased, who have distinguished themselves in a specific field of endeavor, in civic affairs, in humanitarian affairs or in activities which merit special recognition. It is the hope of the Hall of Fame Committee that future graduates of BCS will see in these inductees, people worthy of emulation.

Are Smaller Schools Better?

Majority of surveyed students say yes.

The debate over whether larger or smaller schools are better is one which has been argued for a long time. American schools have a tendency towards growth, as the general view is that larger schools are better.

Brocton Central Catalogue 1914-1915

Brocton Central School has a rich history, dating back to the first settler, Captain James Dunn, who erected a small log building to educate his children.

Available are excerpts from an original Brocton High School Catalogue dated 1914-1915.
